Funding excellent research

Aiming for a life without EB

EB-ResNet supports and coordinates research funding on behalf of its member patient organisations and partners. There are three funding schemes that we currently offer: Research grants through scheduled calls for proposals, Ad-hoc grants our flexible funding scheme, and Co-funding for industry-partnering projects.

EB-ResNet welcomes proposals for innovative research, and clinical development of treatments or diagostics. All proposals are evaluated for scientific excellence, feasibility and value for money, and whether they address priority needs of people with EB.  We undetake peer review to ensure that only the best research is funded

Current grant rounds

Ad-hoc grants may be applied for when there is a specific immediate need for project funding, or a time-limited opportuntity for co-funding arises.
